Due to the increased demand for specialists in the field of scientific communication and the modernization of the needs of the labor market, the authors analyze current issues related to the nature and role of scientific communication in higher educational institutions. The authors describe domestic and foreign examples of the implementation of new educational programs and activities, methods and competencies acquired as a result of the development of these programs. Several key types of integration of educational programs of scientific communication in universities have been identified. They are as follows: pedagogical trainings, long-term practical schools, master's degree programs, and internal media support. It was found that the integration of the practice of scientific communication in universities improves the quality of education and creates an opportunity for university graduates to acquire the competencies necessary for interaction with various institutions in the modern knowledge-intensive economy. В связи с возросшей потребностью в специалистах области научной коммуникации и модернизацией потребностей рынка труда в данной статье авторами анализируются актуальные вопросы, связанные с сущностью и ролью научной коммуникации в высших образовательных учреждениях, описываются отечественные и зарубежные примеры реализации новых образовательных программ и мероприятий, методы и компетенции, приобретаемые по итогам освоения данных программ. выявлены несколько ключевых видов интеграции образовательных программ научной коммуникации в университеты, это: обучающие тренинги, продолжительные практико ориентированные школы, программы магистратуры и внутреннее медиа сопровождение. выяснено, что интеграция практики научной коммуникации в университетах повышает качество образования, создает возможность для выпускников вузов обрести компетенции, необходимые для взаимодействия с различными институтами в современной наукоемкой экономике.
